Payment Protection Insurance is still right under the nose of the consumer. People everywhere are losing out on thousands in payment protection insurance claims. It’s highly advised that you start your claim today, before you miss the opportunity to get your premiums back!

Most of the banks have admitted liability for the mis-selling of PPI and have set aside BILLIONS of pounds in ready for payment protection insurance claims! Barclays bank was the first to decide not appeal the decision of the judicial review and have started investigating complaints that have been made regarding the Payment Protection Insurance. Barclays themselves set aside 1 Billion pounds in anticipated PPI refunds and said they would provide anyone who put a claim in for mis-sold Payment Protection Insurance before April 20th 2011 would be entitled to a full refunds of their PPI premiums as a gesture of goodwill.

Not like Barclays, the taxpayer supported banks Lloyds TSB and Bank of Scotland stated, they would not be mimicking Barclays in providing hassle-free Payment Protection Insurance refunds. Someone from Lloyds TSB made the public statement that Lloyds would be judging each individual case based on its merits and that they would handle all payment protection insurance claims regardless of when they were made. He also stated that about 20% of all the PPI claims placed would be automatically rejected due to them not having Payment Protection Insurance. This includes the Bank of Scotland, Halifax and Lloyds TSB brands. To shed light on a dark situation, he did state he believed most people who put in a PPI claim would receive a refund. But why on earth would they choose to make claiming more difficult than a major competitor? Surely this is likely to make people switch their bank? They could be providing refunds much quicker and this would increase customer satisfaction, where currently they are lacking a lot of.

Barclays as mentioned before have set aside a massive 1 billion they’ve estimated will cover all the payment protection insurance claims; Lloyds have set aside a gigantic 3.2 Billion pound… surely this suggests that Lloyds’ advisors were more prone to mis-selling than that of Barclays? Or maybe it’s the sheer volume of people they have mis-sold it to in comparison with that of Barclays. Either way, Lloyds banking group are dragging out the process for their clients; this affects Halifax, Bank of Scotland and Lloyds TSB.

If you haven’t put in your Payment Protection Insurance claims yet, it’s highly recommended you do, as the banks legally only have to keep your financial records on file for a maximum of 6 years from the start date of the loan. Unless you have all of the correct documentation to make the claim, then it’s suggested you do it ASAP or you could be losing out on your chance to claim back thousands of pounds in PPI refunds.

With the recent Judicial Review between the banks and the Financial Services Authority, plus the attention the media have placed on Payment Protection Insurance Claims thing’s can seem confusing! Make sure you’re up to date with all of the latest news!

A few considerations need to be determined if you want to find a good financial institution. One of those is to decide if you’ll keep your money in a particular bank or have it deposited in a credit union. It could either be that you’ll be a member and at the same time part owner or plainly a customer who avails the service of the bank, a very intriguing idea to let you think of checking out what credit union can offer.

Westland and Wayne banks grant benefits to members while credit unions at the same time grants much more ideal benefits. Thus is the original purpose when they were first established. In 1864, the first German credit union was put up by Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen; took about 12 years to pass by when the representation was constructed by Sir Franz Hermann Schulze-Delitzsch in Eilenburg. Just then Raiffeisen believed that the rural representation was essential for only pin money flows in and the chance of getting employed is rough thus the rural regions become “unbankable”.

For the 3 long years that gone by, this countryside had showed vital hits and badly needed the caress of financial institutions who are considerate to the people’s difficulties whom showed faithfulness to them. Weigh and evaluate both offers and then decide. You must be wise, mind in focus and all ears and when something is confusing, don’t hesitate to ask.

As credit union’s member, you are entitled to every discussion and decision being made. In recent records, many had fall through usually in the last two years in contrast to the years that passed. How an individual in such situation would be helped if he would be charged with higher rate and hold back from lending? Countless financial establishments happened to do it. Mostly banks just follow orders from the management. Credit Unions are the opposite for they practice democracy. They go on with the voting process and implement things when fully approved by the members. In this manner, members are fully aware and have more hold on the whereabouts of the money.

French speaking immigrants are the ones who established the first ever US credit union in Manchester, New Hampshire in 1905. They have observed and watched over how the process worked at Canada and then they requested for help and constructed the institution bearing intent of not for profiteering.

During the big trouble that occurred recently, it has been proven that the embodiment is long-lasting and enduring compared to what banks have. This year 2010, 132 banks experienced failure because of financial incapability. In that same period, only 20 credit unions fall short. Have you noticed that banks often changed their names? How about your local credit unions? They’ve sustained their name and the same as it was before.

Credit Unions are run by a democratic process and offers a more personalized benefits. Now, with Westland Credit Unions rest assured you know where your money goes.. Also published at Credit Union vs. Bank – Would You Become A Member or Remain A Customer?.

Yeah, these myths have been spread very fast, and there are some trues you really need to know, one of the best examples is that you need a professional agency to do it for you, even though they can help you do it, you can do it for yourself. I did it so can you!, our next step will be to revel the truth from some of the most common myths about credit repair and debt consolidation issues.

Myth 1: I Can’t Do It Myself

You may need help in many areas of your life, but credit repair and debt consolidation is not one of them, believe me you can do it, if I did it you can do it too. I still remember the first time I saw my credit report and realized I had some late payments, a judgment and some other stuff, in that moment my first thought was “I need immediate help with this” after getting some good education on the topic I was able to do it all by myself and now I am going to give you the best education possible on these topics (debt consolidation, credit repair, and debt management) so you can face this problem by yourself. After I had my credit report in my hands I started noticing some huge mistakes, some of these mistakes were from the creditor, some others were from the credit bureau, and after making some more research I realized that anywhere from 75% to 90% of credit reports contain errors.

Myth 2: You can not fix your bad credit.

Not at all, having a bad credit rating does not mean you can’t fix it, it may take you some time to do it, but you can definitely do it. There are several avenues to repair your credit, build positive lines of credit and returning to the good credit path. One of my most embarrassing stories occured when I was applying for a Banana Republic card and I was denied in the middle of a very important Holiday. Improving your credit is just a matter of getting the right education on the right topics and with my videos you will get all the education you need.

Myth 3: You just have one credit Score.

The reality is that you have 3 credit scores, they are from the major credit reporting agencies, all 3 show different scores, so when applying for credit one company may use a different report than others, it is always good to check your credit score through the 3 bureaus, because scores can vary a lot among them.

Myth 4: Your score will decrease if you check it.

There are soft inquiries and hard inquiries, and they can affect your credit score in different ways. The hard inquiries are those that affect your credit score and are done for the companies you wish to get credit from, the soft inquiries do not affect your score and these are the inquiries that are done in order to obtain your information for promotional purposes.

Myth 5: Your score will be lower if you are shopping around for a Loan.

This is a very common myth, if you are searching for a mortgage, home equity loan, or car loan and you apply to multiple vendors this will only appear on your credit report once. This only applies if the same kind of inquires are made within 14 days of each other. Unfortunately, this doesn’t apply for credit cards!

Myth 6: The Only Way To Improve My Score Is To Remove All Negative Items

This is a partial true, because “erasing” your bad marks is just one piece of the credit repair puzzle, remember that while removing “negative items” will help you in your credit score, just building “positive credit” will take your score further. Remember when you were denied from a credit card company because you did not have credit? the truth is that you did not have positive credit built up with credit card companies.

Free advice about credit cards: “How To Reduce Your Credit Card Interest Rate With One Simple Phone Call”

Here is a little sweet trick: Get your telephone, dial your credit card company number and ask them to drop your interest rate! it’s that simple! just tell them that you have in front of you a credit card with a lower interest rate, it may be they are offering you a zero percent rate for the first 6 months and after that period they will charge you 8%, tell them that you are thinking of transferring your entire balance to this new company if they don’t decrease your interest rate, chances are that you will get a better interest rate then the one you have right now, be extremely kind with the operator, but if you can’t get a deal ask to talk to the supervisor, remember that the key part is to threaten to leave them.
